I enjoy this poem. Its conflicted, but then again, the nature of narcissism is about conflict: conflict with the world, conflict with others, conflict with yourself. I like how this poem simply throws conflict in the eyes of the reader, invoking how tiring it must be to deal with the mechanism of ego attachment and senseless grandeur on a daily basis? Good poem.
