A Fresh Start:

by Scott Cole   Sep 5, 2017

Beautiful satin ribbons
Tied and dipped in dyes,
Then draped across the sky
So they can drip dry.

They're hung with great care
And spaced far apart,
So their separated colors
Can saturate our hearts.

All those fancy rainbows
Crisscrossing the skyline,
They do bring shivers
Tingling down our spines.

For their reflected beauty
Tantalize our eyesight,
And comfort our Souls
With all their delight.

They're far and between
Those glowing arcs of orbs,
And only hold our glee
Right after passing storms.

So pay them homage
Show them some respect,
For their phenomenon
Has lasting effects.

They bring us hopefulness
Better times are ahead,
For they're living proof
By the frowns they shed.

They revive our hearts
And settle our minds,
While hanging out to dry
On Mother Nature's clothesline.

This is outstanding! Rainbows have never been more wonderful in my eyes. I wish I could nominate Scott, this poetic rainbow rhyme.
