Your Arms of Comfort

by Kitty Cat Lady   Sep 6, 2017

I sink into your softness
You know my curves so well
It's been this way for many years
It's a place I like to dwell

All those cosy nights you've carried me
Comfort you always bring
You are a witness to my life
All those changes you could ring

We've moved around together
From one home to the next
You always seem to fit right in
So many changes you accept

But lately you seem older
A little frayed and in need of repair
I don't care though, I won't be parted
From you my favourite chair.

Nothing beats your favorite chair. No matter where you go you always have the one piece of familiarity. Well done-
