Kindling

All it took was a little spark
To light this fire in my veins
Now everything that I touch
Is exploding into flames

I can feel the warmth wrap around me
With promises of no more pain
Burning all my memories and regrets
Until nothing but ash will remain

The flames dance in the darkness
Everything is consumed inside
And all of who I used to be
Has finally burned out and died
