Me

by jescelle   Jul 10, 2004

A heart that harder than stone,
a life thats longer than the road to hell,
a smile thats as fake as a child,
a child abused and lost.
A body as perfect as a gem in the sea,
a soul that crumbles as it falls to the ground and whithers at my feet.
Eyes that have watched to world deceived,
hands that have touched the fire,
lips that have kissed the feet of evil,
with a burning need and desire.
Love thats as lost as my happiness,
happiness thats as lost as my love,
a need as powerful as the hands of time,
that never stops and never lets go.
Feet that have walked all over people,
legs that have taken me to the ends of the earth,
ears that have heard the worst sound in the world,
the whispers of a ripped soul.
a stomach that hungers for the fruits of life,
lungs that breath in the truth,
scars that leave, some will last forever,
that over run the will to stay sane.
fingers that have searched for the wings of salvation,
a pencil that write on its own,
a paper that fills by its own free will,
tattered love that will never grow old.
