Wrapping it up

by Dagmar Wilson   Sep 19, 2017

As we are facing the forth semester of the year
I am slowly wrapping up my last nine months.
There is one box with a big red bow worth keeping.

I can tell that I am growing older
my ears have grown deaf to all the drama,
my lips are trained to keep it zipped.

Superb write and very wise. The older we get the less dramatic things seem. Loved the metaphors and the thought provoking depth. Its wonderful how you manage to squeeze so much into a few lines. Definitly needed to be nominated. Milly x

In my mind now you're a teacher preparing to leave ... you've seen it all over the years and learned that speaking up changes nothing ... but you've had many special moments to be treasured
I love how just a short piece can conjure up such a story in my mind ... that's such clever writing, I love it!
