The ghost of our love

by Ya----Na   Sep 24, 2017

Last night,
I saw the ghost of our love
under the same tree
where we used to weave our dreams
during the summer evenings;

Where my childhood had grown up in your lap;
Where you locked my soul in your lips forever
and where my heart fell like embers from that tree
and turned into ashes.

Winter is coming

    This is a great poem and I really loved the layout...very pleasing to the eye :)

    Can I suggest a small thing that I think you have wrong here....The first half of the poem is written in past tense which makes this sentence wrong IMHO...

    "Where my childhood has grown up in your lap" I think it should be had?

    Very much enjoyed this one from you.
