My soul

by Ya----Na   Sep 25, 2017

How about
putting a butterfly
on the tip of her finger
or
should I give birth to the sun
right above her forehead?

How about
showing her like a pretty girl
standing in the rain
holding a small umbrella
or
should I make her face with the
snowflakes?

How about
I give wings to her
like a humming bird
hovering over a flower
and make her noise music to my ears
or
should I color her
in a deep purple shell
found near the shore
and put my soul inside it?

Whenever
I try to sketch her beauty
in the canvas of my eyes,
I have to give a part of me
to make it look alive.

I guess this is the purpose to my life:

)Born(
to
(die.)

I'm sorry but for some reason I previously missed commenting on this poetic gem. It's beautifully written with amazing visuals and I dont think anything i could write could do it justice. Congratulations on a well deserved win. Milly x
