Unending Nights

by Sherry Caayupan   Sep 26, 2017

A chain through the hollow moon in endless nights,
Without a wink, I see darkness engulfing,
Guilty pleasures bloom as sparks fly,
Wide open arms savoring bliss entwining...

A warmth of boundless faith and passion,
Lovers longing for their loving presence,
Time stood still in this couple's union,
No wasted tears or endearment stolen...

A blessed patronage of this love's fruits,
Like a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow,
The pouring rain stays serene, it can't undo,
This star-crossed lovers' truthful row...

A guiding light shines through the gate,
Of this love's starting pace,
Love have found a lasting slate,
As a strong and binding space...

This is very good. The rhymes and clever half rhymes have not suffocated the rich imagery in any way which isn't always easy to achieve. Well done.

    All the very best,

    Ben
