His Love Never Changes

If you have lost your hope for the good Lord’s divine grace
Because of the times you have rejected His embrace
In favor of the empty dreams, that many of us chase
While giving in to the bad temptations we all must face

Remember that the grace for the sinner is always there,
Given by the unchanging Lord, Who really does care.
Those who believe they do not sin do not think it’s fair
That the prodigal son has wasted grace, yet has a prayer

The Fathers love does not change because of what we have done
There is no love greater than that of the Father for the Son
And the Holy Spirit is a divine love offered to everyone
All we need to do is accept this love, and the healing has begun

Even if my sisters and brothers believe my will cannot change
And the love the Father has for a prodigal son is very strange
Only the Father has control of the Kingdom that’s in our range
When we believe in the great power of forgiveness we can change

The awful lie that we cannot change our will has held back the tears
Of many prodigal sons who want to go Home for many years
