Conspiracy Theorist

by CJ Maleney   Oct 1, 2017

I do not trust our governments
For they are thicker than thieves
I'll admit they get some things right
But their words I won't believe

I get this little intuition and doubt
That something isn't right
There's something in their sentiment
That will never see the light.

I've learned a lot in my short life,
To trust that primal fear.
I've been wrong and right so many times
But the fact is ! I'm still here!

If something does not feel right,
Then this is so often the case.
Do not dismiss things swiftly,
For this is the serpent's kiss.

They slither round so stealthily
And silk threads flow from their tongues.
Be wary of what you choose to believe
For what they weave will come undone.

A nature not given freely to trust,
Will never make you right or feel alive.
But I'll tell you what it will do,
It will ensure that you survive!
