Circle of life

by Dagmar Wilson   Oct 7, 2017

You can hear them whisper at night
they do have a voice,
providing shelter for the homeless.

Trees have a bond
their arms are reaching out,
it's a circle of life.

Oh Dagmar, this is lovely! I too believe trees have a soul and a voice. I think they cry and laugh with us-well done my friend!

How true. As Kitty said a thought provoking piece. My husband and I used to sit under 'Our' tree in the park and take a picnic. We often wondered how many people over the centuries had also sat there on the grass looking over the lake.

Unfortunately they chopped him down. We were very upset because with him went so many happy memories. Milly x

The irony of so many trees cut down to make space for and build new homes!
This is really thought provoking Dagmar and deceptively succinct as ever! x

An emotional write.. Those trees sure do give shelter when you're homeless and they're great listeners too (I know I've been there)
