The Words Control Me

by Gwenyth Hill   Oct 10, 2017

I have to say that the words catch and they sway
They bend and they move, most often a skewed
They wonder away
Then come back to play

They control me and my mind
So much so that I do not have the time
To question their motives
Whatever they are
They have a hold on me
One which I do not wish to bar

For they can write the greatest of joy
And the saddest of sorrow
I do not hope to have any say
In what they decide
For I am the player
Just along for the ride

quiet enchanting. I wish I could write like you when I were your age. I mean the level of maturity in your words and vision is phenomenal.
