Man is a rational animal
In which body and soul are united together as one
For the duration of our lives
Our bodies are animal in nature
The conscious mind is the nonanimal element
These essential elements are welded inseparable into our natures
The instinctive reptilian brain
Works subliminally without our command
The corporeal side of man is alive
Grows, experiencing sensation,
Has desires, feels pain and pleasure
Is couscous of spirituality and the invisible soul
Is capable of intellectualizing this abstraction
Of self- reflection!
By so doing recognizing the souls as a spirt being
Capable of existing independently of the animal body
Life can be viewed as a preparation towards this separation
