Nothing Is Permanent

by Gwenyth Hill   Oct 10, 2017

Time changes everything
So slowly you wouldn’t know
How you are different
From mere moments ago

Time makes an enemy of us all
Stops us from staying the same
And we cannot do anything
To stop this constant change

But I guess it’s an ally as well
Because without it we’d never be different
Change can be good occasionally
At least nothing is permanent

A nice thought provoking piece and I agree if time stood still I think we would all end up feeling very bored. :) Milly x

For your age I admire your rhyming and your thought provoking pieces because they say so much about the younger lady you are already

    Take care
