Midnight Sparks

A cork pops, giving a surprising scare,
As champagne spews high into the night air.
Ev'ryone looks and cheers with joyful glee,
While sipping their drinks and laughing carefree.

The music is blaring into the crowd,
Sending rhythmic vibrations through the ground.
Ev'ryone is moving to the songs beat,
Dancing and singing in the crowded street.

The party keeps going, while fireworks crack,
Ev'ryone's in awe, as the sparks trail back.
Another wave of lights, flicker up high,
While ev'ryone stares into the night sky.

The glistening Sparks seem to fade away,
As the clock strikes twelve, calling a new day;
A new day for fun with new dreams as well,
And a few good friends with stories to tell.

The night will remain inside of their minds,
As they leave the party and friend's behind.
The party is over for now, my friends,
For the night is done and the sun ascends.
