There are shadows that followed me.
It chases away smiles and hijacks the forecast that promised an encounter with the comfort of a summers eve soothing breeze embracing me.
It brought to me rushing winds of pain my way that reminded me of the memories from the past that haunted me.
I try to dodge them
They catch me.
They devour me.
Like the crashing waves of a tsunami.
I am drowning in this sea!
Gasping for air
Holding on to anything

Until I realize..... that everything around me.....is rising....
Because then I was Drowning.
