An interesting piece. For me I felt the positivity in the first three stanzas was a good introduction. The next two take the reader to the realisation that even though the boy is a lot older he still can't shake how the bullying felt and so is now depressed.

The final two stanzas reach out to the reader with a message of friendship and support. The offer of positive help and someone to talk to.

It is very sad that people in today's world more than ever often feel depressed and isolated at some point in their lives. Sometimes all that you can do is offer that hand of friendship and sometimes a smile or kind gesture can change a person's life.

that is so true. It just takes the little things to make a day. It takes bigger scales to keep it like that and thats the point people dont understand. Thank you for the feedback milly and i hope you have a great rest of your life.
