I love the title of your poem..
A heart-felt piece of a sense of drowning in hopeless waters. A feeling of desperation to be just trusted. I love the flow and pace as with all your work.

I think my interpretation is slightly different from. Black hole lol. I think the character is someone who has spent s long time being supportive to a loved one reassuring them that he would still go to any lengths to get to the bottom of what's caused the worry in their life.

Its like the love of his life constantly questions his love upsets him And puts him through hell and promises that things one day will be fine but it never is. The writer despite this is still promising support but wishing for the day when the promises will come true. Molly x

I think this poem is about telling the person whom you love that there is no need to worry and you will go in depth of his heart to find the cause of those worries.
Even though, it would take your life, you are willing to take that risk.
So that you can dispel his fears.
His fears of drowning in false love once again, when your love for him is sincere.
You want him to love you, believe in you or at last you want him to tell you that he doesn't love you so that you should stop yourself from drowning in this one sided love.
But you can't even do that. You have waited for him a long time and your tears have almost burnt your chest with hope of his return.
And finally, you want nothing, just the person you loved once who had a heart of gold because that is the real treasure you have been looking for.
