Donald rump served very rare

Disney gave us Donald duck
That’s fine, a cartoon character is fun
Even if he can’t speak legibly
But the president of the Dived States of America, is another matter

Donald chump came to us fully grown
With a twitter account
Boy can he chirp!

There are no quick fixes in life
We as human, [homo sapiens]
Have basic instinctive knowledge
Of what is right and what is wrong

Donald Chump skipped class on that one
The original empty barrel has nothing on him
He fits the cliché like a hand in a glove
This is an uncomfortable truth we must live with

But when you split families, you cross the line
Hurting children that makes him a” monster”
Yet he, and his like, rise to power
History’s pages bare testament

It sucks

    A strong write and one I have to say I agree with. The people that lead us should be among the best of us, surely. Why is it, then, that they are so often the dregs of society?

    This phrase makes no sense: "Yet he and his like rise to power"

    If you change it to "yet he, and his like, rise to power", it makes much more sense.

    Being in the military, I cannot comment on the subject matter; however, I do appreciate that you have the courage to stand up in what you believe -- whether you think he's doing a great job or not.
