This is great! Such a novel idea and very thought provoking ... especially for poets ...

    "how many,
after all, can claim to cut diamonds
    with their own tongue?"

    ^^
    This is especially clever :-)

I really liked this a lot. The thought of being a jeweler and creating a beautiful piece through words, well that is just beautiful indeed! Just like this write-well done-

I definitely see why this is a featured piece of yours. Itself an allegorical parallel to writing, the metaphors are unique but striking, and it has a wonderful flow. I am not sure if it was intentional, but if so, your separation of "true meaning" after the lines where you say "There is always a pattern, a method to how we speak," ... it's quite ingenious, like an easter egg hidden in your poem. (I know there's a more professional term than "easter egg" in regards to literary devices, but I honestly can't think of it right now.) Regardless, the symbolism is superb. I loved it!

    Great write,
