Moonbeams Of Lark:

by Scott Cole   Oct 31, 2017

One night I mulled
beneath
the tranquil Moon,
within the opacity
of its gloom.

My body uneased
my mind at war,
my eyes
completely
tore.

As I grappled
and
pondered my ill woes,
amongst the
lulling glares
of its shadows.

The blissful awe
of its posh
serene,
heightened
and boosted
my self-esteem.

As the flickering
of its
silhouette
mesmerized my peeked
stares,
its unruffled
disposition
lifted all of my
fraught cares.

As the moonbeams
played laser tag
with
my soggy eyeballs,
their tear ducts
of looming despair
trickled
to a halted stall.

This is great Scott ... only in poetry would a line like this make sense! Super write! :-)

The moon is so addictive in this . Feel it is venting through my eyeballs.
