And the rain is falling.

I watch you going inside this house
who would you know on this side of town?
You don't know that I followed you.

My hands are sweaty
raindrops keep splashing against the window,
I need to get home.

    I'm with Kitty: the repetition is an excellent poetic tool here; it's thoroughly effective. Coupled with the rather sad content, the pounding rain complements the piece very well.

    I like the repetition here Dagmar as it really emphasises the gravity of what's been seen and the feelings it's evoked.
