Out of Luck

by Kitty Cat Lady   Nov 21, 2017

Tell me what it is you want
Take it and be on your way
Don't ask for my forgiveness
I've nothing more to say

Don't try to justify yourself
I'm not interested in your story
I've nothing left to give to you
And I've seen beneath your glory

On the outside you look normal
No one would ever guess
The ugliness you hide from sight
Masked by your fancy dress

You'll find no more emotion here
It's all spent and dried up
You had it all, but now I'm done
You just ran out of luck.

Powerful meaning with a strong message. Enough is enough and I know this feeling well. All the very best and hugs

    Oh Miss Kitty K

A strong piece here, with a stern message, all done in wonderful rhyme.. I like the way you portray the outer of someone, and underneath the mask something else lurks around. Someone I feel you may know well-or may not of in the end.
really enjoyed this piece and full nomination lady
    Well done
