You bring me warmth

When you’re not around I miss you to the point where it leaves
A deep ache in my chest.
It’s not the kind of ache that hurts;
But more so how it is when the cold air seeps through your jacket
And deep into your bones;
Leaving a feeling you just can’t shake until you get inside.
In the days leading up to the Sunday’s that I get to see you
I always find myself looking at our pictures and wrapping myself in a warm blanket;
Staring at the beautiful smile captured in those photos because sometimes it’s that image and that image alone that gets
me through even my darkest days.
There is not a single emotion
that your smile can’t automatically soothe for me No matter the situation I may be in;
And the more time I spend with you the more I fall in love with it-
And you.
You bring me warmth,
And even on my coldest days I can still feel it from even a simple glance at
our selfies.
