Kitty, fate so often plays its winning cards when we least expect it to. We just have to stay in the game, as it were.

Take care and all the best as ever.

There comes an age in our life when we gain our consciousness. All of sudden we started realizing why we are here in this world, what we are doing, why we are doing.
We begin to see and observe things. How nature works, and rest everything. As a human being, Feelings play a crucial role in our life and love is the most beautiful among them all, isn't it?
This poem starts with all those things that we do at Young age. I am 17 and I have already wished upon a star so many times, I have written the name of my beloved on frosty screens and I still do it.
I did this bottle act too.
So, it's all relatable, at least to me.

Through this poem, poet is looking for that one true love. She fell in love so many times, met so many people in her life, whom she thought of her true love but they were just impostors(copy of true love and a fake one).
When this happens the most beautiful thing in this world turns into a nightmare for us.
Where in this nightmare people often go into depression, cut themselves, it is good to read that our beloved poet she hasn't quit.
Even in the darkest of these nightmares, she is holding the candle of hope and keeps on finding her true love.
She is calling, scribbling, leaving clues on her path towards true love because she knows in her heart that one day the fate will play no more hide-seek with her and it will show her the path meant for her.

Tone and emotions shows continuous betrayal in love, and how all those unfortunate events taught her the lessons she has learned. But, what I loved the most about this poem is that gleam of hope shines throughout the poem.

KCL, in very simple words you have written the feeling of almost every heart. I have been through this, you too and I think others too would nod their heads on this.
It's not easy to find true love, that one person in a race of billions, but those who find this path of better future, their heart won't feel alone anymore. Finally, there will be no end to that beautiful beginning.
Just like this beautiful poem of yours.
    Loved it :)
