      Thank you,
It came after a small world moment, my mother works for 999 in the uk and she took a call from a poor young suicidal girl who had swallowed a bottle of pills (she's OK now) and with the ambulance on the way she started talking about a poem she read 4 days earlier and at that time she was going to OD but the words made her feel less alone...the poem was Contrary to my reality, I penned if a few months ago and spread it around while looking for a quality wesite (obviously this one was the best)

The whole eventhing made me realise how unimportant the meaning is to me as the author as once I put it out there it can be taken 100 different ways and all that matters is that it speaks to the reader in their own way.

Just to confirm the girl is OK now and the NHS have seen to her receiving all the help she needs to have a better future.

This is so well thought out, and so true Justen. Our poems are sometimes interpreted differently to how we intended them, but as you say, that doesn't matter if you've touched someone with your words. Super! :-) x
