Different

We all have differences
some big as vociferances.

Some love blue
because it’s true
lifting spirits anew.

Some love reggae
because it’s schway
like a new day.

Some love mystery
because it makes things edgy.

Most people like the sun
because it means more fun
instead of being shun.

In many ways we’re the same
and that and our differences are no shame.

Everybody loves love
because it’s a sign from above
and fits all like a glove.

Everybody has morals
that resonates as chorals
dispelling all quarrels.

You make fresh discoveries
going together like embroideries
creating fond memories.

Differences are great
so long as there’s no hate
and we all congregate
to elevate.

Even though we each are different,
one thing we all share is being constant
as well as brilliant.
