Comments : When the bond is broken

    Dagmar,

A terribly sad piece. The truth is, there is only so much we can ever do - even for our own children. When they become adults, the responsibilities and obligations that life brings falls on them and it is up to them to deal with it all correctly. The problem is, that doesn't stop the parents from caring and feeling like they are to blame somehow, does it? Children are a lifelong blessing - and a lifelong curse.

All the very best to you as ever,

    Ben

Aw Dagmar. I think a natural part of growing up includes the bit where they have to break away from their parents for a while. The bond not lost, just temporarily suspended
    Sending hugs xx

      Thank you Michael
My mouth has gotten me in trouble so many times. It is my 12 year old granddaughter and she don't care about nothing. It bothers me.

Dagmar, I think all girls go through a bit of this with their mothers. It is frustrating for sure. My oldest stopped talking to me for almost 3 years, it was horrible. Now, she's a mother herself and has both a boy and a little girl. She really sees it now and calls me just about every day to talk and get council from her own mom. So have faith, she will grow up and not be such a little "B". Hugs to you my friend.
