I will come through

When nothing seems right,
when happiness is taking a break,
when the going gets tight,
when the world seems so fake.

what crosses your mind?
don't you feel like dying?
when no other way you can find,
when all you do is crying?

i felt like dying too,
i was tired of sobbing,
i felt like splitting my head in two,
when i was sick of my heart's throbbing.

but then it dawned upon me,
am i so weak?
whatever the reason maybe,
even if sorrow is at its peak,

i do not want to die,
i will survive,
do u know why?
because I'm alive.

i will break free,
i wont utter a groan,
i will come through, just see,
even if i have to do it alone.

there have been ups and downs
and there always will be,
but if life was meant to be lived without frowns,
then why would God make you and me?
