Beautiful fate

by Trisha Harris   Feb 6, 2018

The ancient ones have called me
"fearless dreamer"
My boundary lines precise,
'mongst undiscerning light of foes.
Where fervently, I sought the balance,
said to uphold all creation,
Until prophecy revealed what LOVE had grown.
For it was written doors would surely open,
wide to those so blessed with humble
hearts to knock.
Then through compassion's soul abounding,
even dust shall gain salvation
For the shepard gave his life to save his flock.

Trisha, I really liked your poem, clearly inspired by one who has Faith as I do also. As I interpret it, the Ancient ones (Plural) are the Trinity who spoke the words: Let US make Man/Woman in our own image and likeness. You are a dreamer like Joseph who held onto his righteous walk with God, ran out his Robe when his Masters Wife grabbed him. Prophecy does say that; No good thing will I withhold from them who walk uprightly. Then through compassion's soul abounding,
    even dust shall gain salvation
For the shepard gave his life to save his flock. Yes we are from the Dust of the ground, and Our Creator the Shepard did lay down his life for us, his Sheep. Put in my Favorites, glad it was Nominated! Great work!
