    Meena,

Such a beautiful beginning with your piece, showing the colours of someone with love and lovely words, and then the ending come with a crashing fall.
Such emotion portrayed throughout, and penned wonderfully, albeit a sad twist.
    Much warmth and nominated.

Reality bites Meena, but ... I felt acceptance here ... your loved one has your heart and soul and accepts and soothes you ... and then forgets Valentines! Sounds like the love is there every day though :-) x

Ahh, my valentine is also very busy. Just kidding Ms. Meena. That ending was really unexpected as I was really touched by the preceeding stanzas. Forgetting to greet you can be acceptable, coz I'm sure he's thinking of you all the time.

Ms. Meena Only you can give such depth to a poem. The end is a little hurtful but at the end of the day love counts

Beautiful portrayal of love with a nice twist at the end. But I guess a conference call with video is almost like being in the same room. An excellent piece. Best wishes Milly x

Meena k, I loved the structure of the poem. It looks like a single flower in a flower pot.
The first two stanzas look like flowers, then those seven dots look like the stem, the last stanza is the pot, far from it but still holding the flower firmly.

The first two stanzas is all about how special he makes you feel in everyday. This line, engraved the seed of us, appeared to me as your children. He handles everything in a calm way. He is a nice gentleman. I mean the first two stanzas you have dedicated to him, telling us about his qualities. It's like he is the only one, only flower whose fragrance is all around you in that sanctuary (a home) he has created for you and your family or in other words he is your sanctuary.

If he is a flower, then you are the pot holding its roots. The end, obviously, a surprise for all of us. I mean I didn't figure it out until I read the last stanza. I know it's not an easy thing to forgive, the day of love. But the qualities of him you mentioned in the first two stanzas, I genuinely believe he makes every day of your life is more than or equal to saint's valentine day.

Though you are stem apart, yet his roots are always too deep in your heart.

    All the best!

    Judging comment:

This poem, to me, captures both the innocence and playfulness of love. The poet reveals the passion in her love, the bond of their union and the strength the lovers have within each other; and it ends in a climactic humorous revelation (just the tinge that was needed to remind us that love is not perfect and perfect at the same time). Very well done
