Love this Milly sometimes things can waver between parent and child but there's always that bond somewhere deep within, I always treasure my mum as she's helped me through much strife in my lifetime and supported me usually always. |
Marmite, thankyou for your lovely comment. I thought since mothers day is coming up it was time to think about writing something to celebrate. Best wishes Milly x |
A beautiful write Milly and I could not agree more. Unfortunately I never had that pleasure or desire to say the same about my mother. It is a sad perhaps wrong thing to say but I can't relate nor can I begin to imagin the bond between mother and child. I love my children to the moon and back and that is why mother's day brings me great joy. We argue but at the end of the day we tell eachother I love you. Thank you for sharing |
Dagmar thank you for your lovely comments. Sadly not every mother is a good one but you have despite the conflicts between you and yours become the wonderful mother to your own children. Love and best wishes Milly x |

Well said Milly. As my own mom is getting up there in age and is dealing with various medical issues it brings reality smack in the face and I know I won't have her forever. I think of my own kids and thank God daily we are all in a good place. Well done with this- |

When I first dabbled in creative writing, I wrote lovely sentimental words. These were bespoke cards with messages about them from me. My primary purpose was to find a card with blank space for my verse. Later I experimented and stuck my printed poem on top of any previous text. |
