Stars

by Khai Montegrande   Feb 20, 2018

As I watch the stars tonight,
I see your smile so bright,
I remember your tantalizing eyes,
Inside them I see, the far most galaxy,
The pleasurable portrait of someone I want with me,

But those stars are far from me,
It’s as far as I could see,
Would there be someone wishing for me?
Staring at the same star I see,
I might see you in the sanctuary or in some place where season is free,

If the stars won’t be twinkling tonight,
I hope you’ll feel alright or this would be another tragedy,
Like Aero and Orion’s failed love story,
But the stars will find a way for true love to come this day,
Because each of those stars has a pathway,
Like the road of love you’re travelling today..

This poem rhymes a lot with the same ending sound "e" like see, me, free and to me it makes it seem a bit bland however the emotions as usual and the imagery in this one makes that not matter

    good job with this one
