Chaos

We are all chaos.
It was through a massive explosion
that the universe was created.

Through the heavy bombardment of the earth
By countless comets,
came the water that flourishes life.

Through the explosive death of stars,
came the atoms that create you and I.

Through the extinctions of other species,
came the opportunity for our ancestors to rise.

And you,
my dear,
are the most beautiful chaos
I have ever seen.

    A lovely piece about the chaos of creation finished off with the sweetest description. "And you, my dear, are the most beautiful chaos I have ever seen". I know that to a lot of women that comment will be very swoon worthy :) Well done. Best wishes Milly x

    I agree with Em ... a perfect ending here ... I'd love to be called a 'beautiful chaos'. You've done that thing of looking at the massive universe, then paring it right down to the pinprick of human existence, then ever further still to this one person. Very clever considering how few words you've actually used to that. Brilliant Alex :-) x
