Moving On..

Even though I left you,
Don't think it was easy to do.
No matter how near or far,
I still have the memories of you.

I didn't want to let you go,
But the cons outweighed the pros.
I started catching all the red flags,
I tried my best I hope you know.

I promise ill never forget you,
Or all that you have done.
And I can't preach enough,
That you never went unloved.

We are just so different,
When it comes to many things.
Our goals are also different,
As well as our hopes and dreams.

I wish you nothing but the best,
I wish it wasn't this way.
For my mind is saying one thing,
While my heart has gone astray.

So please don't feel broken,
I don't want you to feel alone.
I promise my intentions are good,
But for both our sake I must move on..
