My biggest critique would be my desire to keep it going. This struck a chord in my mind and drew me in. I've lived it. I love this. Well done!

Ouch Walter! The pain of watching someone you care for, waiting to be used, is so well expressed here. This could be written from the perspective of so many people to whom it's obvious she's being used by him and knowing she deserves better. Really well done :-) x

Like Tony I have lived through this to watch someone I cared for dearly be used, heartbroken then getting back with said heartbreaker but all we can do is advise and be there to pick up the pieces in my opinion.
The title states exactly what this poem is about but is it your heartache or someone else's was my initial thought.
Stanza 1 - sometimes people wait around hoping praying that things will be different once theh awaken the following day but more often that not no it will not have changed for the problem(s) need to be dealt with head on for them to be solved and pronto too.
Stanza 2 - some times people see through rose tinted glasses thus covering up the heartache they've felt, other feel that everyone deserves a second third sometimes fourth chance to be able to change a particular person but it never happens or atleast not in my experience yet they'd risk everything to be with the person who causes them the most heartache though I'm not sure even if I've been there myself but haven't we all?
Stanza 3 - oh my heart.. This hit a real chord with me been there done that and for the 5-shirt to proof it but as I say rose tinted glasses are often worn and make things much brighter covering up the hurt and heartache always.
Stanza 4 - This is a real sweet stanza showing you care for this person and wish they'd be able to see things through your eyes therefore not seeing things as rose tinted as they now do.
Many people will relate to this. The rhyming is good too so all in all it gets two thumbs up from me.
