Taste the Rainbow (for the open challenge)

A bright arc of hues adorn the sky
And on my tongue and for my lips
I'd like to feel the sweetness spread
I want to know a violet kiss
A fiery red to set me alight
Mixed with blue to cool the bite
A purple buffet of delight
