My heart hurts reading this. How often do we subconsciously settle for things, this illusion that we think will fill us with meaning? So much so that we lose the depth and worth of what love truly is.

A short piece but something many can relate to. We cannot find a lasting happiness from something that is merely a mask or shadow of love. If it attempts to deceive us or make us change who we really are, it is not pure.
