how to walk away from everything all at once.

the will to walk away is something earned
never granted, yet always wanted...
i have to say, im quite concerned
that for whatever the reason
no matter the season
my efforts are worth little
worth such a small amount at all
despite how much
work
that i put into what i need to do
to rid myself of toxins
to rid myself of you
we fight and we struggle
and i always turn to leave
and i almost get away
until i remember
that there is
no one here
at all
just me.
