Wow. I read the poem, & felt all sorts of emotions, & then read Mr Darcy's comment, & now I cry! |

Dear Andrea, not just your daughter, but you too is stronger than sorrow. These poems that you are writing for her, letting her know how much her momma loves her has made her stronger than sorrow. You are her strength, you are the reason she is speaking such motivational words in melancholic times. |

Andrea I have no words for this I'm broken just reading this so can only merely understand how you're feeling.. All I want to do is give you and Robyn the biggest hug just to make things better. If I had a magic wand I know where I'd be using it that's for sure.. |

Wonderful capture of hope in the face of futility. |

A very heart wrenching piece, Ms. Andi. Tears just started to fall and I feel your sorrow deeply. A powerful write carved from your situation... I know I will always remember the last lines. |

Judging Comment - Stronger than Sorrow by Maple Tree points 10 - I have read this countless times and each time I find something more beautiful about it, something that moves me like I've never been moved before by a piece of poetry even more so knowing that this is real, no sugar coating it so to speak. I'll need another box of tissues soon though |
