The title makes me question what you're saying goodbye to a friendship, relationship, a home, a job, a life....
1) this stanza is intriguing as I wonder why you no longer have any choices because you've closed doors never to reopen them is it because of disapproval or control or just simply because now you've made that decision
2) This makes me think you've decided to give up on a relationship because it's taken up all your time/energy abit like they've taken taken taken without giving anything back yet expected everything in return from you no doubt even the clothes off your back if they'd fitted them and been their colour ofcourse then I reread and thought heaven forbid it be about wanting to end your life because it's got too much for you... I hope it isn't the latter.
3) OK so now I no you're saying goodbye to a person and I feel it's a person you were in a relationship and thought the world of well you know what your 'dream life' can still be as life is what you make it regardless of what and who you have in life.
This is a fluent and fantastic piece
