FILL MY CUP LORD

Take this day, and make it go your way, no fuss, no rush, guard my lips, teach me when to speak and when to hush. Start the morning with me in your secret quiet place, and by your Holy Spirit fill me with your Grace, your Joy, and Peace, this day, as the Sun rises in the East.

Make my face so shine as one who had seen the Divine, whisper in my ear, I love you, and you are mine! Bring any evil thoughts that roam my mind under your mighty power, give me a new song while I take my shower. Sprinkle my conversation with salt, give me an ear to hear, and to the hurting, show that you care.

In being a good Soldier, prepare me for the day’s evil to come, place upon me all your Armor so that I will stand tall, and avoid a fall. For I am your workmanship, a Trophy put in the face of our enemy, the Prince of Darkness in this World, who one day will cease to be.

Give me seed, guide me to the good ground to sow, they are your planting among the evil one’s Tares, who haunt the Churches, and bring Faith killing snares. In my sowing and watering I know that your will give the increase, so many immortal Souls to release from Satan’s prison of darkness. And translated to your Kingdom of Light, in your eyes a glorious sight. No longer my childhood night time prayer I speak, in my dreams, I kiss your cheek.
