You

by Fredy RoMa0u Sanchez   May 9, 2018

Your voice breaks through the silence like a bullet in the night....
Sudden, forceful and free...
Your smile incandescent in the dark...
Reminds me of how close heaven can be

Your eyes zealously safeguard the road to paradise,
Denying or inviting with nothing but a look
The moon turned red with envy
When she realized, your face with a star she mistook

Your hair falls like a waterfall on your shoulders,
Wild, roaring and alive in the face of strife.
Your presence is a sacred blessing,
And enough reason to hold on to life.

Your lips softer than the most delicate flower,
As enticing as a ripe fruit...
The most mundane of your acts,
Still is perfection absolute...

    ...simply beautiful, tender and heartfelt!

It shows you have someone who lifts your spirit
and soul with just that very person's presence which makes
life all worth it as well as making you go forward.
    Nicely penned :)
