Heart of clay (Rondeau)

by Ya----Na   May 9, 2018

We failed our mother as a child
Forgot her heart is warm and mild
We got the minds to look insane
Do mistakes and repeat the same
A herd of sheep, who always filed.

She suffered everything yet smiled
It's her home, but she is exiled
We are blind to ignore her pain
We failed our mother...

Time has come to bring back the wild
And put down the walls, we have piled
While we are busy in the blame
Her soul is dying in this game
It's a shame, we haven't reconciled
We failed our mother...

A hard form, really well done.
I have only written one and it wasn't all that good, but I will try another soon, I think.

    Take care, good fellow
