I remembered Dr. Faustus dealing with the devil when I read this. I think that aside from Ben P. you also have a sickness for rhythm Mr. Darcy! You pulled this form off without 'a single hiccup'.

Excellent, Michael; I thought you would be a dab hand at this form, given the meter. I do spot only 9 syllables in lines 1 and 6, though.

for all my love of poetry and the quite literally thousands of books i own I can never get my head around the whole aA Bb cC Blaaaaaaaaah ....... I have a mental block on it for some reason which drives me mental, Syrup tried teaching me once and i think I made her loose some leaves , having said that Just cause i can;t do it doesn't mean I cant appreciate it, and i love this write, you me old mucker scribed a corker here!
