Because of you

You're only a memory, trapped inside my head.
You're among the thoughts, of being happy, and wishing I was dead.
You were the only thing keeping me sane.
so many nights I thought "I can't take this pain..."
You didn't love me,you didn't make any effort at all.
You always asked me what was wrong, not knowing you were the reason for my great fall.
You never really cared, or showed how you felt.
I just had to sit back and cry, at the hand I was dealt.
When you yelled at hit me, I'd just sit there and cry...
After this, you'd say sorry, and kiss away my tears, and I knew it was nothing but a lie.
So now, you can't hurt my, all is done and said.
Because, you're the reason, now, that I am dead.
