TRUE BEAUTY
You can't compare yourself to what's in those magazines
Pretty girls with flawless skin, perfect smiles, and beautifully thin.
There superficial beauty you wish you had,
And everyday you try to measure up
but its something your unable to grab.
You flick through pages looking at there beauty,
but with those pages that fly past your eyes,
All confidence you had slowly begins to die.
Every time you stand in front of a mirror
you pick out your faults and flaws,
its something you always do everyday
and you wish you didn't have to anymore.
But true beauty lies within you,
you have to love who you are first,
before you can see that beauty
is not just on the outside in fact its the reverse.
You have to look inwards and set aside your pride
And then you'll finally see that beauty is there shining deep inside.
