Je T'aime

by julie   Jul 11, 2004

All the time we spent together,
All the time we said it would be forever.
After such a short time he would no longer be mine.
A love for each other, that would never grow old,
nor rot with an age long of dirty mould.
He kissed my hair,
As I held his stare.
He touched my cheek,
Making my knees feel weak.
His beauty outstretched that of the most beautiful flower,
A beauty of charm, wit and of power.
His heart felt and cared only for me,
Hoping for mine, and not his own glee.
His body in the images of the God's created,
One so very highly rated.
His voice escaped from his succulent lips,
As he held me tightly within his grip.
To not see him every day,
Hurts me in every imaginable way.
It felt so right for us to be together ,
But why God, have you not let it be forever?
If IÂ’ve never known a love so strong,
Then how on earth can it be wrong?
The hardest thing, IÂ’ve had to do is part from his grip,
When I did, down the middle my heart did rip.
I cried as I left, as I walked down the beach,
As his voice carried in the wind, as he whispered “Je T’aime.”
