Bricks and Mortar

by Maple Tree   Jun 11, 2018

I see the sun differently
now that darkness has passed,
In my heart I know it will return
taking it's final curtsey, but for now

I'll breathe a bit easier.

New smiles greet me each day
and it's the little moment's that
soften the bitterness of bricks to the face;
and other tramatic events.

My life evolves suddenly these days
I'm going to embrace the silence as long as I can, before it rains once again....

    Andrea, I hope this lull lasts a long, long time. You all deserve some peace in your lives. Hugs-

    After a storm comes the stillness, a time to take stock and recoup. I hope this stillness lifts you all enough to breathe a little easier - at least for a while. X
